Shouhu App Lock

Support

An active subscription is required for all features. Eligible users can try them free for 7 days. Releasing existing protection and managing accounts and subscriptions remain available without a subscription.

A parent’s subscription covers up to 2 child devices. No separate purchase is needed on child devices.

1. Authorize Screen Time in Settings. Individual authorization is for managing your own device. Child authorization requires approval from a parent in the same Apple Family Sharing group.

2. Create a plan, select apps and rules, save it, then turn it on in the list. Hiding supports individually selected apps; categories and websites use blocking. Schedules can cross midnight and repeat according to the day they start. Daily limits count from when monitoring begins; changing monitoring may reset the count.

3. On the parent device, sign in and create an 8-digit pairing code. On the child device, first set a parent passcode and obtain child authorization, then enter the pairing code. A parent must select apps once on the child device for each remote app group.

4. While the child app is open, remote settings are checked every 30 seconds. The app also requests background refresh, which iOS schedules. New rules may be delayed while offline, suspended or force-quit; existing local rules continue to be handled by the system. On the parent device, distinguish between Sent and Applied.

Monthly subscription

The Apple Account on this device confirms and processes the purchase. Parent verification does not switch the payment account. To stop renewal, cancel through Manage Subscriptions at least 24 hours before the current period or trial ends. The Apple confirmation screen shows the final price, trial eligibility and billing time.

Manage Apple subscription

Delete parent account and data

First remove family rules on each child device under Family Protection → Recover or Unpair. Deleting the server account does not automatically remove existing system restrictions from offline devices. After deletion, this account can no longer be used for recovery. If necessary, a parent can restore authorization through iOS Family Sharing and Screen Time settings.

Do not email passwords, verification codes or children’s photos.

Forgot management password

Request a reset if you forget your password. After 24 hours, you must enter this device’s system passcode. Waiting does not remove protection, and changing the device clock cannot shorten the wait.

Verify with Face ID, Touch ID or the system passcode on this parent device to reset the management password.

The originally linked parent must enter their family account and password and authorize the reset. The child’s face, fingerprint and device passcode cannot be used for recovery.

Resetting changes only this device’s management password. App protection, the family account password and subscriptions remain unchanged.
